Hearts of Oak Ladies Head Coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo has been charged by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

This follows the club’s goalless draw on Matchday 1 of the 2025/26 Ghana Women’s Premier League against former champions Hasaacas Ladies. It was the debut game for Oak Ladies in the top-flight.

Coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo was charged for breaching Section 34(6)(d) of the GFA Women’s Premier League Regulations, 2019.

The former footballer and referee is alleged to have made comments which questioned the integrity of the match officials and brought the game into disrepute.

She has until Thursday, November 6 to respond to the charge.
