Bechem United’s captain, Augustine Okrah, has expressed the team’s disappointment start with their poor results in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
Despite playing “very good football,” the Hunters have struggled to secure wins, earning just one victory in seven matches. They sit 14th in the league table, mere points above the relegation zone.
Speaking ahead of their Week 8 match against Nations FC, Okrah acknowledged the frustration, saying, “This season is a very tough season for Bechem United. Looking at our performance this season, I think we are playing very good football, but the results are not coming, and everybody is down. We are disappointed with the results just like the fans.”
Okrah reassured fans that the players are working hard to turn things around, starting with the match against Nations FC on December 31.
The team is determined to improve their results and climb the league table. With their next match scheduled at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem United is counting on a much-needed win to boost their morale and league standings.
