Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey has reportedly stepped down as head coach of Eleven Wonders following a dismal start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Lamptey’s decision comes after a frustrating run of seven matches without a victory, leaving the club second from bottom on the league table. Eleven Wonders have managed just two draws and suffered five defeats, struggling for form and cohesion.
Their campaign began with a goalless draw against Holy Stars before a heavy 4–1 home defeat to Heart of Lions and a narrow loss to Hearts of Oak in Accra. The downward spiral continued with defeats to Young Apostles, Samartex, and Nations FC, with only a draw against Karela United providing temporary relief.
Lamptey, who took charge hoping to revive the Techiman-based side, leaves after a difficult spell marked by inconsistency and missed opportunities.
The club is yet to issue an official statement confirming his resignation or announcing a replacement.
