Ghana’s Black Queens secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Egypt in the second leg of the WAFCON qualifiers, with Doris Boaduwaa scoring a brilliant hat-trick at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The win wrapped up a 7-0 aggregate triumph, sending the Black Queens to the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Boaduwaa, who opened the scoring in the 51st minute, added her second goal just five minutes later, before completing her hat-trick in the 90th minute.
Comfort Yeboah also scored a stunning goal in the 58th minute to extend Ghana’s lead.
The team’s dominant performance was marked by their impressive teamwork and skill.
After the match, Boaduwaa expressed her joy, saying,
“I’m happy to have scored a hat-trick. What I couldn’t do at the WAFCON, hopefully, I’ve settled it in these two games. WAFCON again, so watch out,” she told 3Sports.
Her words reflect a renewed hunger and determination as the team looks ahead to the continental tournament.
