Ghana’s Black Princesses will regroup in Accra on Friday, October 24, 2025, as preparations kick off for the WAFU B U20 Girls’ Cup slated for Benin from November 3 to 10.
Head coach Charles Sampson has called up 26 players to report to camp by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, marking the start of a crucial training phase ahead of the regional championship.
The defending champions will look to replicate their impressive run from two years ago, when they edged past Nigeria 3–1 on penalties in Kumasi to lift the maiden edition of the tournament.
Sampson and his technical team are expected to focus on tactical coordination, physical conditioning, and team bonding as they shape a squad capable of retaining the title in Cotonou.
The WAFU B U20 Girls’ Cup remains one of West Africa’s most significant developmental competitions, offering a platform for young female footballers to gain international experience and push for senior national team opportunities.
