Bashir Hayford satisfied with Heart of Lions’ draw against Hearts of Oak

Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford has expressed his contentment following his side’s 0-0 stalemate with Hearts of Oak in their Week 5 Ghana Premier League fixture on Monday.

The encounter, held at the Accra Sports Stadium, saw both teams put up strong performances but fail to find the back of the net, resulting in a share of the spoils.

In his post-match reaction, Coach Hayford described the outcome as a positive one, especially considering the strength of their opponents.

“I think we have done very well. It was a tough game, and I think my boys managed them. One point I think is enough. We have played away twice, and we have drawn the last two. We must make amends at home,” Hayford said.

Heart of Lions will now turn their attention to their next fixture against against Bibiani GoldStars on October 20.
