Ghana’s preparations for Wednesday’s crucial World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic are nearing completion, with 23 players now in camp in Morocco.
Midfielder Mohammed Kudus, defender Mohammed Salisu, and youngster Caleb Yirenkyi have all joined the Black Stars in Casablanca, bolstering Otto Addo’s squad ahead of the must-win encounter.
They are expected to travel with the team to Meknes later today to wrap up final training before the game.
Kojo Oppong Peprah, who earned his first senior call-up after impressing with OGC Nice in France, is also part of the contingent and could make his debut for the national team.
The only player yet to report to camp is FC Basel defender Jonas Adjetey, who is expected to arrive on Tuesday.
Ghana currently sit top of Group I with 19 points and need just four more to confirm qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a potential fifth appearance on the global stage.
The Black Stars face the Central African Republic at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes on Wednesday, October 8, at 16:00 GMT.
