Swedru All Blacks eye big response against champions Gold Stars

Swedru All Blacks midfielder Derrick Asiamah says his side is determined to bounce back when they host reigning Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Gold Stars at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

“We are well-prepared. We have decided that no matter what, we have to beat Bibiani Gold Stars this weekend,” Asiamah told the club’s media team.

The Black and White Boys saw their hopes of back-to-back wins dashed last weekend following a narrow 2-1 defeat to Aduana FC. But belief remains strong in the camp, with Asiamah’s comments underlining their hunger to respond against the champions.

Coach Ahmed Ibrahim Fathi’s side has looked sharp in attack, scoring in all three matches so far this season. However, defensive lapses remain a concern, with five goals conceded in those games.

Facing a powerful Gold Stars outfit will be no easy task, but the All Blacks are banking on home support and renewed determination to make a statement in front of their fans.
