Asante Kotoko coach Abdul Karim Zito exuded confidence after his team’s 1-0 win over Bibiani Gold Stars in the Champion of Champions match.
According to Zito, his pre-match speech played a significant role in the victory.
Notably, he emphasized a personal mantra that seemed to motivate his team: “And there’s one thing I kept on saying, you can’t beat Zito twice. For that, I am sure.”
Zito and his team had Hamzata to thank after he scored the only goal for Kotoko to help the Porcupines exact revenge on Goldstars, who previously beat Kotoko in the GHALCA Top 4.
