Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has heaped praise on Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus after his dazzling Premier League debut for the North London club.
Kudus, who joined Spurs this summer, provided two brilliant assists in their 3-0 opening-day victory over Burnley. His performance has already convinced Frank that the 24-year-old will be central to Tottenham’s attacking play this season.
“We just played the first game and scored three goals, so that was pretty promising. Kudus has that spark and creativity we need in attack,” Frank said at his pre-match press conference.
The Spurs boss added that the Ghana star’s qualities give him more tactical variety up front as his team prepares for a tough trip to Manchester City.
Kudus has history against Pep Guardiola’s side, having faced them four times and netted a spectacular bicycle kick on the final day of the 2023/24 season.
