Karela United Close In on Midfield Reinforcement Frank Amankwah

Karela United have reached an agreement to sign former Bibiani Gold Stars midfielder Frank Amankwah on a two-year deal, Kickgh.com has learned.

The 31-year-old free agent is set to complete the move within hours, joining the Pride and Passion side ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, which begins on the weekend of September 12.

Amankwah played a key role in Gold Stars’ title-winning campaign last season, making 26 appearances, scoring once, and providing several assists before parting ways with the club earlier this year.

Karela view the experienced midfielder as a crucial addition to strengthen their engine room for the new season.
