Ghana’s Abdul Wahab Hanan joins Bahraini champions Al Muharraq

Former Legon Cities midfielder Abdul Wahab Hanan has signed for Bahraini giants Al Muharraq SC ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 27-year-old joins from league rivals Al Shabab Club, with the Red Wolf confirming the deal in an official statement.

Hanan, who previously played in Portugal for Covilha, Loures, and Moncarapachense, brings valuable experience to the Bahraini champions. He is expected to play a key role as they aim to defend their league title this season.

“My ambition with the club is to help them continue to win trophies,” the Ghanaian said during his unveiling.

Hanan will wear the number 15 shirt ; a tribute to his father, who he described as his greatest inspiration.
