Ghana’s U20 men’s national team, the Black Satellites, have secured third place at the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Cup after beating Niger 2-0 in the third-place playoff match.

The game, played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, saw Ghana dominate their opponents to wrap up the tournament on a positive note. The win comes as some consolation for the host nation after missing out on a place in the final.

The WAFU tournament, which began earlier this month at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, concludes tonight with Nigeria taking on defending champions Ivory Coast at 7:00 PM in the final.
