Former Hearts of Oak and Black Stars team manager Sabahn Quaye has shared the emotional bond he still holds with the Phobians, saying the club’s success would lift his spirits and aid his recovery.
Quaye, who has been unwell for some time, told Fire for Fire on Adom TV: “If Hearts of Oak performs well while everything is going well at the top, I will be healed. That’s how much this club means to me.”
His comments come as Hearts officially unveil Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as head coach for the 2025/26 season.
The former Kotoko and FC Nordsjælland boss has been handed the task of reviving the club after a trophyless campaign.
