Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Fredrick Asare is officially set to sign a two-year deal with South African club Durban City today, with an option to extend for an additional two years.
The 25-year-old joins the PSL outfit after parting ways with Kotoko, where contract renewal talks broke down at the end of the season.
Asare, who also featured for Accra Lions earlier in his career, won the MTN FA Cup with the Porcupines and was a key figure in their recent campaigns.
He becomes the latest Ghanaian talent to seek a fresh challenge abroad, marking a new chapter in his professional journey.
Asare is expected to link up with his new teammates immediately as Durban City gear up for the upcoming league season.
