Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, the dynamic Ghanaian winger, has officially returned to Leicester City’s pre-season training camp following a serious ACL injury sustained while on Black Stars duty.

The 20-year-old, who had been sidelined since November, has been cleared for full participation ahead of the 2025–26 season.

Issahaku began light training in late May before heading off on holiday, but has since ramped up his recovery, reporting “ready and fit” for the upcoming campaign

Early reports confirm he’s already back on the grass and involved in drills with teammates

After playing a major role in Leicester’s return to the Premier League; despite consistent ACL issues, Issahaku is poised to make an impact under the watch of a fresh coaching setup. His resilience and form will be vital as Leicester aim to bounce back and contend among England’s elite.
