ottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal worth around £55 million ($74.7 million) to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United, with the Ghanaian midfielder poised to join the club later this week.

The 24-year-old is scheduled to undergo a medical on Thursday before finalising a six-year contract at Spurs. Kudus has made it clear he prefers a move to north London if he departs West Ham, and personal terms are already in place.

Tottenham had initially submitted a £50 million bid, which West Ham rejected. However, negotiations continued, and both parties have now reached an agreement.

Kudus’ current contract runs until 2028 and includes a unique buyout clause that’s only valid for the first 10 days of July. The clause is structured based on the buying club’s location: £80 million for European sides, £85 million for Premier League teams, and £120 million for Saudi Arabian clubs.

The former Ajax man made 35 Premier League appearances last season, scoring five goals and registering four assists. That was a slight drop from his first season in English football, during which he notched eight goals and nine assists after joining West Ham in 2023 for €41.5 million.
