Coach Desmond Offei will lead the team for the last time in a competition before taking on his new role as assistant coach of the national team.
Ghana has been placed in Group A alongside arch-rivals Nigeria and Benin, making for a challenging draw.
In the Group stage, Ghana’s opponents in Group A are Nigeria and Benin while Ivory Coast will face Niger, Burkina Faso, and Togo in Group B is not accurate hence Group A has Ghana, Nigeria and Benin and the rest will be in Group B.
Last year, Ghana reached the final of the WAFU Zone B U20 Championship but lost to Nigeria.
