Five young footballers from Ghana are set to undergo trials with Italian giants AC Milan, thanks to the efforts of politician and football administrator Hon. Haruna Iddrisu.
The players, drawn from his own football club, will spend a month training with the Serie A side as they bid to earn professional contracts.
The trial presents a major opportunity for the youngsters to gain international exposure and experience at one of Europe’s top clubs.
AC Milan’s coaching staff will assess them during their stay, with decisions on their future to follow after the one-month period.
Hon. Iddrisu, known for his dual impact in politics and football development, has played a key role in nurturing young talent. “We believe in their potential, and AC Milan is the right place for them to show it,” he said.
This move adds to Ghana’s long history of producing world-class players and could deepen ties between Ghanaian football and Europe. All eyes are now on the players as they embark on this crucial step toward fulfilling their dreams.
