Newly appointed Hearts of Oak head coach, Didi Dramani, is evaluating the current squad to identify areas that need improvement.
In an interview with Sporty FM, Coach Dramani explained that he’s assessing the players to determine which ones need regular playing time to develop.
“Every top club will have areas to look at to improve. It’s early days, although we are making the right decisions,” he said.
Dramani added that he’ll be looking at the squad’s strengths and weaknesses, and making decisions based on short-term and long-term goals.
“It’s important to look at the current squad and appreciate what the current squad is all about and then make sense out of the current squad and then make the improvement journey of the current squad,” he explained.
With a transfer ban in place, Dramani will have to work with the available players until the situation changes.
Some players may be sent out on loan to gain regular playing time and develop their skills. Dramani will make his debut as Hearts of Oak’s head coach on Sunday, July 6, against Asante Kotoko in the 2025 President’s Cup.
