Medeama SC open talks to sign Nsoatreman striker Abdul Rahman Mohammed

Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC are in pursuit of Abdul Rahman Mohammed who made waves at Nsoatreman FC.

Rahman grabbed headlines after scoring twice in Nsoatreman’s CAF Confederation Cup qualifier in August 2024, a performance that has since drawn interest from the Tarkwa-based club.

The 26-year-old is a free agent following the withdrawal of the club from all football related activities due to hooliganism.

It is understood that the 2022/23 league champions have opened negotiations for a potential transfer.

The Yellow and Mauves are said to be preparing a competitive offer, banking on Rahman’s readiness to join a team with continental ambitions.

Medeama have strengthened their squad in recent seasons with both local and international talent and now see Rahman as a strong addition to boost their frontline.

The club reportedly views the striker as a perfect blend of youth and experience, ideal for their evolving project.

Talks are ongoing, with the deal expected to be wrapped up before the new Ghana Premier League season kicks off in September.
