Hohoe United eye move Legon Cities defender Aaron Quartey

Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Hohoe United are keeping tabs on Legon Cities centre-back Aaron Quartey following the Royals’ relegation.

The 25-year-old defender is drawing interest from multiple top-flight clubs, but Hohoe United are reportedly positioning themselves to land his signature as they prepare for their debut Premier League campaign.

Quartey was a standout performer in an otherwise difficult season for Legon Cities, impressing with his composure and physical presence at the back. Club sources say Hohoe see him as a key target to shore up their defence.

No formal talks have taken place yet, but the situation is expected to develop in the coming days.
