Real Oviedo midfielder Kwasi Sibo believes he’s ready to represent the Black Stars of Ghana, following a standout campaign that saw the club promoted to Spain’s La Liga.
“I’m matured enough to play for the Black Stars. I believe this is the time. I’m just doing my best and waiting for them. I’m always ready to represent Ghana,” Sibo told Asempa FM.
The 27-year-old has been impressive in Spain, making 42 appearances and scoring a goal and delivering an assist.
Sibo attributed his success to hard work, saying, “I love to work hard and that gives me enough stamina to do my job.
Midfielders control the game. To play in the midfield, you have to understand the game, have stamina and patience.”Sibo feels his experience playing in Spain has prepared him well for the national team. “Playing all this while in Spain, I think I have learnt a lot and ready to play for the national team,” he added.
