Ghana international Denis Odoi has officially parted ways with Belgian side Royal Antwerp ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

The 37-year-old, who still had a year left on his contract, reached a mutual agreement with the club to end his stay at the Bosuilstadion.

“Denis Odoi (37) is leaving RAFC,” Antwerp announced via Instagram.

“Although Odoi still had a contract for one season, the player and club have decided by mutual agreement to terminate that agreement. RAFC would like to thank Denis for his efforts last season and wish him every success in his further career.”

Odoi, a former Fulham and Club Brugge player, is now a free agent and reflecting on his time at the club with gratitude.

“Personal reasons are behind the termination of the contract,” he said. “I thank the club for their understanding and the confidence they had in me.

“To the staff, my teammates, and everyone at the club, thank you for the great time at the Bosuil. And to the fans, I felt your support from day one. You are fantastic.”

The veteran defender made 28 appearances in all competitions for Antwerp last season and now weighs up his next move.
