Abdulai Gazale is set to join Accra Hearts of Oak as assistant coach under Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, a role he’s excited about given their mentorship connection.
Gazale opted to step down as Basake Holy Stars coach after he led for just one season after signing a three-year contract in August 2024.
With experience as a youth coach and interim head coach at Asante Kotoko during the 2020/21 season, Gazale brings valuable expertise.
Gazale’s appointment is part of a broader technical restructuring at Hearts of Oak.
Fiifi Parker Hanson, who led Golden Kick FC to the MTN FA Cup final, is expected to be the second assistant coach.
Najahu Issah is also set to join as the new goalkeepers’ trainer.
Meanwhile, former coach Aboubakar Ouattara has been elevated as special advisor to the board.
This revamped technical team aims to drive Hearts of Oak’s success with a blend of national team expertise, top-flight knowledge, and youthful energy.
