Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has declared his ambition to guide the club to the Ghana Premier League title in the upcoming 2025/26 season.
After joining the Yellow and Mauve midway through the last campaign, Tanko led the side to an 8th-place finish with 50 points.
The former Ghana international believes the foundation for long-term success is now in place and is ready to push for silverware.
“We’re not coming back next season to chase the top four, we’re coming for the title,” he told Graphic Sports.
Tanko plans minimal changes to the squad but emphasized that strengthening the defence and attack will be key to their title challenge.
He revealed that surplus players will be moved on to create room for new signings and promote young talents from within the club.
With a full pre-season and a clear vision, Tanko says his mission is to build a lasting legacy and turn Medeama into a dominant force in Ghana football.
