Asante Kotoko Communications Director, Sarfo Duku, says the club will soon decide whether interim coach Karim Zito will be handed the role permanently.
Zito took over midway through the second half of the 2024/25 season, replacing Prosper Narteh Ogum. He guided the Porcupine Warriors to a 4th-place finish in the league and led them to a 2-1 victory over Golden Kick FC to secure their 10th FA Cup title.
“He has done well, losing just one league game and winning the FA Cup,” Duku told Asempa FM. “But we’ll review the season and decide whether to keep him or appoint someone else.”
Kotoko will play in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup following their FA Cup triumph.
