Accra Hearts of Oak have opened negotiations to sign former Bibiani Goldstars forward Prince Kwabena Owusu, with both parties reportedly keen on a deal.

The 27-year-old recently returned from a brief stint with Saudi lower-tier side Al-Hedayah, cutting short a two-year contract after just six months for undisclosed reasons.

Owusu impressed during his time in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 9 goals and providing 2 assists in 29 appearances for Goldstars. Overall, he netted 16 goals and made 7 assists in 86 league matches.

Talks are already underway, and a deal could be finalized before the end of the week.
