Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Opoku has assessed his performance for the Porcupine Warriors since re-joining the in December 2024.
Despite being new to the team, to a large extent, Opoku has made a significant impact, scoring crucial goals, including a brace in the MTN FA Cup final against Golden Kick on Sunday.
“I see myself like I’m just a normal player that I have to help my club so it’s not anything special,” Opoku humbly told 3Sports.
The foward rated his performance at 70%, adding, “If I started the league, maybe I would have done better.”
Opoku’s impact on Kotoko has been undeniable, with no player scoring more goals than him since his arrival.
Despite joining mid-season, he has seamlessly integrated into the team, coming up with clutch goals.
His brace in the FA Cup fin ended Kotoko’s 8-year FA Cup drought.
Kotoko, together with league leaders GoldStars, will represent Ghana on the African stage in the inter club competitions.
