Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Nortey has joined Israeli second-tier side Al Wahda Kafr Qasim, completing a move from league rivals Maccabi Jaffa.
The 25-year-old’s transfer was confirmed on Friday, June 14, through a social media post by Ghanaian journalist Sannie Daara.
Nortey brings a wealth of experience to Kafr Qasim, having played in Israel, Romania, and Cyprus. He previously featured for Romanian giants CFR Cluj in 2023 and had spells with Hapoel Umm al-Fahm, Enosis Neon Paralimniou in Cyprus, and Maccabi Reineh; where he built a solid reputation in Liga Leumit.
“Excited to join, meet my teammates and fans. See you all soon!” Nortey wrote on X, signaling his enthusiasm for the new challenge.
His signing is seen as a smart move by Al Wahda Kafr Qasim, who are looking to strengthen their midfield with a player known for his tactical discipline, physical presence, and adaptability across leagues.
While contract details remain undisclosed, Nortey is expected to be a key figure as the club aims for a strong showing in the upcoming Liga Leumit campaign.
