Dreams FC close season with 4-1 win over relegated Legon Cities

Dreams FC ended their 2024/25 campaign on a high, defeating already-relegated Legon Cities 4-1 at Tuba Astro Turf on Sunday, June 8, 2025. The victory underlined their intent to improve on last season’s ninth-place finish.

Jonathan Nemorden opened the scoring inside six minutes, showcasing Dreams’ attacking ambition from the outset. Joseph Esso doubled the lead in the 18th minute, leaving the hosts comfortably in control at half-time.

After the break, Suraj Seidu continued Dreams’ ruthless display by making it 3-0 in the 65th minute. Nemorden then completed his brace with a spectacular strike ten minutes later, quelling any hopes of a Legon Cities comeback.

Albert Adoma pulled one back for Legon Cities in the 85th minute, but it proved only a consolation. Dreams FC’s fifth-place finish last season was bettered as they secured sixth spot with 52 points, highlighting steady progress under their current management.

With a solid end to the season, Dreams FC will look to build on this momentum ahead of 2025/26.
