Ghanaian striker Ben Opoku has completed a move to Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim ahead of the new season.

The 21-year-old joins from German fourth-tier club SC Switch, where he impressed with 10 goals and 4 assists in the previous campaign.

Opoku’s performances caught the attention of scouts, earning him a step up to Germany’s top flight.

Despite representing Germany at U18 level, scoring once in four appearances, he remains eligible to play for Ghana at senior level.

His pace, finishing, and intelligent movement have been widely praised, with Hoffenheim viewing him as a long-term attacking prospect.

Opoku is expected to initially join the first-team squad during pre-season, with hopes of earning minutes in competitive matches.
