Hearts of Oak’s Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo, has set a target to finish in the top four of the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians will host defending champions FC Samartex at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in their final game of the season.
Currently fifth with 55 points, Hearts of Oak are out of the title race.
“We are hoping to end the season on a positive note by finishing in the top four since we have not been able to win the league,” Opare Addo told Sporty FM.
He also addressed speculation surrounding the future of head coach Aboubakar Ouattara, denying reports that the club plans to sack him.
“Aboubakar Ouattara remains the substantive head coach of Hearts of Oak. No decision has been taken by the club,” Opare Addo clarified.
With a focus on ending the season strongly, Hearts of Oak will look to secure a top-four finish against FC Samartex on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
