Ghana and Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo has revealed it would be a dream come true to one day share the Premier League stage with his younger brother, Jai Semenyo.
Jai, who recently completed a season with National League side Eastleigh, made 24 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign.
After joining the club in August last year following a successful trial, he clocked 749 minutes before his contract expired at the end of the season. He is now weighing his next move as he looks to climb the English football ladder.
Despite the uncertain road ahead, Antoine remains optimistic about his brother’s potential. The Bournemouth attacker, who had an impressive season in the Premier League, says he continues to support Jai both emotionally and professionally, offering guidance from his own journey through the ranks.
“It would be special to play alongside him at the top level,” Antoine shared in an interview with ShowMax. “There’s still a long road ahead, but he’s got talent. I’m always there for him, just like others were for me when I was coming up.”
Antoine himself knows the grind of lower-league football, having worked his way up before breaking through in England’s top flight. Now, he’s hoping his brother can follow a similar path ; and perhaps even meet him at the summit.
