Ghana Football Awards: Mercy up against Joyce, Kassim for Women’s Coach of the Year

Former Black Queens head coach and current trainer for Oaks FC Mercy Tagoe is set to battle with Abu Kassim of Police Ladies and Ghana’s U15 girl’s gaffer Joyce Boaitey Adjei for the Women’s Coach of the Year award at the 2025 Ghana Football Awards.

Mercy led Oaks FC, the women’s team for Hearts of Oak, to Premier League promotion, just two years since the team was established.

Meanwhile, Abu also guided Police Ladies to their maiden Women’s Premier League title at the just ended season.

Also, Joyce was instrumental in helping Girl’s U15 clinch the CAF African Schools Football Championship.

The event will take place on June 14 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
