The Black Queens of Ghana will begin their 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) campaign against defending champions South Africa on July 7, 2025.
They are in Group C alongside Mali and Tanzania. Ghana’s group stage schedule includes matches against Mali on July 11 and Tanzania on July 14.
The Black Queens have finished as runners-up three times but have yet to win the tournament.
After hosting the competition in 2018, this will be their first appearance in the tournament, and they aim to progress beyond the group stage.
Currently based in Abidjan, the team is preparing for WAFCON with two friendly matches against Ivory Coast.
