Ghana and Nigeria are preparing for a show-stopping game in London in the 2025 Unity Cup, as part of preparations for September’s World Cup qualifiers.
A number of high profile players were left out of both squads due to the scheduling of the game, which falls outside Fifa’s calendar.
On the Eve of Ghana’s game against Nigeria, right back Tariq Lamptey was spotted at the team’s hotel, together with his dad and brother.
Lamptey was not called up to the squad as he has had injury issues all season and struggled with his fitness.
Lamptey’s visit comes on the heels of other notable visits from Baba Rahman, Mohammed Kudus, and Kamaldeen Sulemana.
Ghana play Nigeria on Wednesday at the G-tech Community Stadium in the semi-finals of the competition.
