Nations FC coach eyes win against Samartex to boost title chances

Nations FC coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle is focused on securing maximum points against Samartex in the Ghana Premier League when his side host the Samreboi-based club on Sunday.

With three matches left, Nations FC tops the table with 57 points, while Samartex sits sixth with 48 points.

Coach Mingle emphasized the importance of winning at home to maintain their title ambitions.

“We are preparing for the match. Samartex is a formidable team so we are preparing well to face them. We need victory against Samartex at all cost to cushion our league title ambitions. We have to win to maintain the lead,” he said in his pre match conference.

Despite acknowledging the pressure, Coach Mingle is confident in his team’s ability to manage it.

He expressed gratitude to the fans for their support and urged them to attend the match on Sunday.

“Truth be told, there seems to be pressure but we will manage it. We thank our fans for the massive support throughout the season. We will need their presence at the Stadium on Sunday.”

The match betwee will take place at the Dr. Kwame Sports Complex, and a win would be crucial for Nations FC to stay ahead in the title race.
