Nations FC’s Burkinabé shot-stopper Rabin Ousmane Sanon has been named the Ghana Premier League Goalkeeper of the Month for April by the Ex-National Goalkeeper Union (NEGO), marking his first time receiving the accolade.
Sanon played a crucial role in Nations FC’s dominant April run, helping the team secure 12 points from five matches, with four wins and one draw.
His outstanding form saw him keep four clean sheets, including an impressive streak of three consecutive shutouts against Karela United, Legon Cities, and Accra Lions.
Over the course of the month, Sanon conceded just one goal, in a 1-1 draw with Young Apostles.
As part of his award, Sanon will receive a pair of gloves, a branded towel, a water bottle, and a T-shirt, all presented by the Ex-National Goalkeepers Union.
