Kudus hasn’t looked the same player this season – Jamie Carragher assesses Ghanaian

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has given his honest assertion about Mohammed Kudus’ season, describing it as underwhelming by the Ghanaians lofty standards.

Kudus hit the ground running for West Ham in his first season but has since struggled to replicate the feat in his second year in East London.

Kudus contributed to 14 goals ( 8 goals, 6 assists) in 33 league games in his debut campaign but has only managed 7-goal contributions (4 goals, 3 assists) this term.

“Last season, he was fantastic. He just hasn’t looked the same player this season,” he told Sky sports while on punditry duty.

” I won’t be surprised if there’s a change there somewhere because West Ham need the money.”

“Kudus might think this is an off-season for him, and last season was the real Kudus, and we get that type of player; It’s a good sign,” he added.

Kudus has been linked with a move away from West Ham, with Atletico Madrid the latest club to express their interest in the Ghanaian playmaker.
