Nations Football Club’s Brands Manager, Kennedy Boakye Ansah, has declared that club captain Razak Simpson is the best player in the Ghana Premier League.
In an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, Boakye Ansah praised Simpson’s influence as Nations FC continues their pursuit of a historic first GPL title.
Simpson has been a standout performer for the Kumasi-based side, with his consistent form earning him multiple call-ups to the Black Stars.
Beyond his solid defensive work, the Nations FC captain has also contributed crucial goals this season, cementing his status as one of the league’s elite players.
“He has proven that he is arguably the best player on the local scene and once he was given an opportunity to play for the Black Stars, we all saw the stuff that he is made of,” Boakye Ansah stated.
With just four matches remaining in the 2024/25 league campaign, Nations FC sit at the top of the table with 54 points, just one ahead of second-placed Bibiani Gold Stars.
