Asante Kotoko will not be engaging in wholesale player signings ahead of the next football season, according to the club’s Communications Director, Samuel Sarfo Duku Esq.

The Kumasi giants, often known for revamping their squad with several new faces during transfer windows, are taking a more measured approach this time.

Duku says management and the technical team have agreed to focus on stability rather than an overhaul.

“Despite the fact that players and their agents from Ghana and beyond have express great interest in playing for Kotoko on a daily basis, I can tell our supporters that the club will not buy and transferring players in bulk, come next season,” he told Akoma FM in Kumasi.

“This act is clearly detrimental to the club’s future, and both parties, namely management and the technical team, have agreed that it will occur.

“Certainly, there will be one or two additions, but they won’t be numerous, as it has been the case in recent seasons.”

The decision is part of a broader plan to ensure long-term consistency and avoid disruptions that typically come with mass recruitment.
