Portugal coach Paulo Bento attests to Ghana’s quality

Portugal coach Paulo Bento admits his side will find Ghana a tough side in Group G at the 2014 World Cup finals.

Selecçao das Quinas will face the Black Stars in their final Group match on 26 June in Brasilia after engaging Germany and USA.

“It’s a tight group with a favourite – Germany – because of their history and potential,” the ex-international said after the draw.

“Both USA and Ghana have good teams, well organised and good players in some of the best European teams.

“But our ambition does not depend on the group. We want to be in the round of 16 and that’s what will fight for.”

Portugal’s opener will be against tournament favourites Germany on 16 June.
