Asante Kotoko’s stopgap coach, Abdul Karim Zito, has expressed comfort with his departure from Dreams FC, citing unwavering allegiance to the Porcupine Warriors.
Zito has been appointed interim coach and Technical Director following Prosper Ogum’s sacking on Monday.
Ogum was released off his duties as the gaffer following the club’s recent disappointing outing including losing 3-0 to Accra Lions and 2-0 to Nations FC.
“I’m leaving what belongs to me to join where I belong. I belong to Kotoko.”
With six games to prove himself, Zito aims to convince the club’s management to retain him as head coach beyond the interim period.
His first game is against Aduana Football Club at Baba Yara Sports Stadium
