Asante Kotoko secured a 1-1 draw against Heart of Lions, maintaining their top spot position after week 25 in the Ghana Premier League.

Justice Blay scored a long-range goal in the 45th minute, giving the visitors an advantage before halftime.

Fawzi Ali hit the net, leveling the score just two minutes into the second half at the Kpando Stadium.

Kwadwo Obeng Junior fought for a comeback, but Frederick Asare denied all efforts, ending the game in a stalemate.

The Porcupine Warriors still lead the league table with 46 points and will host Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Lions are third with 41 points and will travel to Dormaa to play against Berekum Chelsea in their next fixture.
