Ghanaian forward Benjamin Tetteh was on target for Maribor in their emphatic 4-0 away victory over Radomlje in the Slovenian Prva Liga.
Tetteh played a significant role in Maribor’s victory, earning him the MVP award after the game at Športni Park Domžale in Slovenia.
Niko Grlić opened the scoring in the 20th minute, benefiting from a well-placed assist by Tetteh.
The Ghanaian striker later got his name on the scoresheet in the 55th minute, returning the favor as Grlić assisted him for Maribor’s second goal.
Pijus Sirvys extended the lead in the 64th minute before Ali Reghba sealed the emphatic win with a goal in the 74th minute.
The victory strengthens Maribor’s position in second place on the league table with 45 points.
The 27-year-old has been in impressive form, contributing to eight goals—scoring six times and providing two assists in 10 appearances this season.
