Celtic FC has secured the services of Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp on a loan deal from Crystal Palace until the end of the 2024/25 season.
This move is a great opportunity for Schlupp, who was seeking more playing time due to limited opportunities at Crystal Palace
The club’s official statement reads: “Jeffrey Schlupp has signed for Celtic on loan until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.”
With nine years with Palace, the versatile Ghana international has registered 15 assists and 19 goals, most recently netting a Goal of the Season contender against Fulham at Craven Cottage in 2023/24.
Schlupp now links up with Scottish Premiership champions Celtic who, under manager Brendan Rodgers, currently hold a 10-point lead at the top of this season’s table.
