Ghana’s Black Princesses will start the new year with an opening camp in Bibiani, commencing on January 2, 2025.

Following the team’s last participation in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia earlier this year, the team’s handlers are keen to strengthen the squad ahead of international assignments in the coming year. Towards achieving this objective, two groups of players will undergo assessment at the team’s camping base in Bibiani.

The first group of players are to report to camp on 2nd January with the second group reporting on 6th January.

The team will be handled by newly appointed Head Coach, Charles Sampson, who takes over from Coach  Yusif Basigi, who, himself, has departed the shores of Ghana to take up the coaching reins of Simba Queens in Tanzania.

These first two assessment exercises will afford the technical team the opportunity to select players to form the foundation of the Princesses team that will be  participating in the  qualifying series for the 2025 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
