It was a close-range finish from Albert Amoah, who connected perfectly with a cross from Patrick Asiedu.
FC Samartex struggled to pose a real threat, failing to create significant opportunities as Kotoko’s defense held firm.
The result leaves Kotoko second on 14 points, while Samartex drop to fifth with 10 points.
