Ghanaian defender Abdul Mumin found the back of the net with a stunning goal for Rayo Vallecano in their 3-1 victory over Osasuna in the Spanish La Liga.
Mumin delivered an outstanding performance, playing a pivotal role in his team’s comeback win, which earned him the MVP award after the game at the Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas in Madrid.
The 26-year-old has now recorded one goal and one assist in five games in the ongoing 2024/25 Spanish La Liga season.
Mumin initiated the comeback in the 50th minute, scoring the equalizer with an absolute belter before Andrei Ratiu doubled the tally for the hosts, putting them ahead.
Raul Garcia had opened the scoring in the 27th minute, giving the visitors a first-half lead.
Unai Lopez sealed the victory for Rayo Vallecano with an injury-time goal, securing all three points on Monday night.
